ମମତାମୟୀ ଚୌଧୁରୀଙ୍କ ଦ୍ୱାରା ଲିଖିତ “ବୈଶ୍ରବାଣୀ” ଏକ ଉଲ୍ଲେଖନୀୟ ଓଡ଼ିଆ ଉପନ୍ୟାସ ଯାହା ପରିଚୟ, ସଂସ୍କୃତି ଏବଂ ମାନବ ଭାବନାର ବିଷୟବସ୍ତୁକୁ ଅନୁସନ୍ଧାନ କରେ। ଏହା ବିଶେଷ ଭାବରେ ବ୍ୟକ୍ତିଗତ ସଂଘର୍ଷ ଏବଂ ବ୍ୟକ୍ତିଗତ ଇଚ୍ଛା ଏବଂ ସାମାଜିକ ମାନଦଣ୍ଡ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଉତ୍ତେଜନାର ମର୍ମସ୍ପର୍ଶୀ ଚିତ୍ରଣ ପାଇଁ ଜଣାଶୁଣା।ଏହି ଉପନ୍ୟାସର ଏକ ପ୍ରମୁଖ ଦିଗ ହେଉଛି ଜଣେ ବିଧବା ମହିଳାଙ୍କ ଜୀବନ ଉପରେ ଧ୍ୟାନ କେନ୍ଦ୍ରିତ ଯିଏ ତାଙ୍କ ସ୍ୱାମୀଙ୍କ ମୃତ୍ୟୁ ପରେ ପୁନଃବିବାହ କରିବାକୁ ଚାହାଁନ୍ତି। ଏହି କାହାଣୀଟି ତାଙ୍କର ଅଭିଜ୍ଞତା, ସମ୍ପର୍କ ଏବଂ ସେ ଯେଉଁ ସାମାଜିକ ଆଶାଗୁଡ଼ିକୁ ନେଇ ଗତି କରନ୍ତି ତାହା ଉପରେ ଆଲୋକପାତ କରେ, ସ୍ଥାନୀୟ ପରମ୍ପରା ଏବଂ ବ୍ୟକ୍ତିଗତ ଆକାଂକ୍ଷା ଉପରେ ଏକ ସମ୍ବେଦନଶୀଳ ପ୍ରତିଫଳନ ପ୍ରଦାନ କରେ। ଏହି ପୁସ୍ତକଟି 2010 ମସିହାରେ ଓଡ଼ିଶା ସାହିତ୍ୟ ଏକାଡେମୀ ପୁରସ୍କାର ସହିତ ସ୍ୱୀକୃତି ପାଇଥିଲା।
