“ଉଡନ୍ତା ଥାଲିଆ ଓ ଏହାର ରହସ୍ୟ” (ଉଡନ୍ତା ପାତ୍ର ଏବଂ ଏହାର ଗୁପ୍ତ ରହସ୍ୟ) ଗୋକୁଳାନନ୍ଦ ମହାପାତ୍ରଙ୍କ ଦ୍ୱାରା ଓଡ଼ିଆ ଭାଷାରେ ଲିଖିତ ଏକ ବିଜ୍ଞାନ ପୁସ୍ତକ। ଓଡ଼ିଶାରେ ବିଜ୍ଞାନ କଳ୍ପନା ଏବଂ ଲୋକପ୍ରିୟ ବିଜ୍ଞାନ ଲେଖାର ପ୍ରବର୍ତ୍ତକ ଭାବରେ, ମହାପାତ୍ର ଉଡନ୍ତା ପାତ୍ରର ଘଟଣା ପଛରେ ଥିବା ବିଜ୍ଞାନକୁ ବ୍ୟାଖ୍ୟା କରିବା ପାଇଁ ଏହି ପୁସ୍ତକ ଲେଖିଥିଲେ। 1968 ମସିହାରେ ପ୍ରକାଶିତ ଏହି ପୁସ୍ତକ ବୈଜ୍ଞାନିକ ଧାରଣାଗୁଡ଼ିକୁ ବ୍ୟାପକ ଦର୍ଶକଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ସୁଗମ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ତାଙ୍କର ପ୍ରୟାସର ଏକ ଉଦାହରଣ।
“Udanta Thalia O Ehara Rahasya” (The Flying Saucer and its Secret) is a science book written in the Odia language by Gokulananda Mohapatra. As a pioneer of science fiction and popular science writing in Odisha, Mohapatra wrote the book to explain the science behind the phenomenon of flying saucers. Published in 1968, the book is an example of his efforts to make scientific concepts accessible to a wider audience.
