Raghu Arakhita

“ରଘୁ ଅରଖିତା” ହେଉଛି କୁନ୍ତଳା କୁମାରୀ ସାବତଙ୍କ ଦ୍ୱାରା ଲିଖିତ ଏକ ପ୍ରମୁଖ ଓଡ଼ିଆ ଉପନ୍ୟାସ, ଯାହା ୧୯୨୮ ମସିହାରେ ପ୍ରକାଶିତ ହୋଇଥିଲା। ଏହାକୁ ତାଙ୍କର ପ୍ରମୁଖ କୃତି ମଧ୍ୟରୁ ଗୋଟିଏ ବୋଲି ବିବେଚନା କରାଯାଏ ଏବଂ ଗ୍ରାମୀଣ ରକ୍ଷଣଶୀଳ ସମାଜରେ ବିଭିନ୍ନ ସମସାମୟିକ ସାମାଜିକ ସମସ୍ୟା, ଯେପରିକି ଅନ୍ଧବିଶ୍ୱାସ, ଯୌତୁକ ପ୍ରଥା ଏବଂ ବିଧବାମାନଙ୍କ ଦୟନୀୟ ପରିସ୍ଥିତିକୁ ଅନୁସନ୍ଧାନ କରେ।ଏହି ଉପନ୍ୟାସ ପ୍ରାୟତଃ ପ୍ରେମ, ବିଶ୍ୱାସଘାତ ଏବଂ ମୁକ୍ତିର ବିଷୟବସ୍ତୁକୁ ପରସ୍ପର ସହିତ ଜଡିତ କରିଥାଏ। ନିର୍ଦ୍ଦିଷ୍ଟ କାହାଣୀ ବିବରଣୀ ସାରାଂଶ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ସାମାନ୍ୟ ଭିନ୍ନ ହୋଇଥିଲେ ମଧ୍ୟ, ଏକ ସାଧାରଣ ସୂତ୍ର ହେଉଛି ଏକ କାହାଣୀ ଯାହା ରଘୁ ନାମକ ଜଣେ “ଅନାଥ” କିମ୍ବା “ନିଃସ୍ୱ” ନାୟକଙ୍କ ଉପରେ କେନ୍ଦ୍ରିତ। ଗୋଟିଏ ବ୍ୟାଖ୍ୟାରେ, କାହାଣୀଟି ଚରିତ୍ରମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଅପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ପ୍ରେମ ଉପରେ କେନ୍ଦ୍ରିତ, ଭୁଲ ବୁଝାମଣା ଏବଂ ମାନସିକ ଦ୍ୱନ୍ଦ୍ୱ ସହିତ ଶେଷ ମିଳନ ଆଡ଼କୁ ନେଇଯାଏ। ଅନ୍ୟ ଏକ ବ୍ୟାଖ୍ୟା ରଘୁଙ୍କୁ ଆଲୋକିତ କରେ, ଜଣେ ଧନୀ ବ୍ୟବସାୟୀ, ଯିଏ ପ୍ରେମରେ ପଡ଼ିଯାଆନ୍ତି କିନ୍ତୁ ତାଙ୍କ ପ୍ରିୟଜନଙ୍କ ବିଷୟରେ ଏକ ପ୍ରକାଶ ଦ୍ୱାରା ଭାଙ୍ଗି ପଡ଼ିଯାଆନ୍ତି, ତାଙ୍କୁ କ୍ଷମା ଏବଂ ପ୍ରେମ ମାଧ୍ୟମରେ ଆତ୍ମ-ଆବିଷ୍କାର ଏବଂ ମୁକ୍ତିର ଯାତ୍ରା ପୂର୍ବରୁ ପ୍ରତିଶୋଧର ପଥରେ ନେଇଯାଆନ୍ତି।କୁନ୍ତଳା କୁମାରୀ ସାବତ ଜଣେ ଉଲ୍ଲେଖନୀୟ ବ୍ୟକ୍ତି ଥିଲେ – ଜଣେ ଚିକିତ୍ସକ, କବି, ପ୍ରାବନ୍ଧିକ, ସମାଜ ସଂସ୍କାରକ, ଜାତୀୟତାବାଦୀ ଏବଂ ନାରୀବାଦୀ। “ରଘୁ ଅରଖିତା” ସମେତ ତାଙ୍କର ଲେଖାଗୁଡ଼ିକ ପ୍ରାୟତଃ ତାଙ୍କର ପ୍ରଗତିଶୀଳ ଦୃଷ୍ଟିକୋଣ ଏବଂ ସାମାଜିକ ପ୍ରସଙ୍ଗଗୁଡ଼ିକ ପ୍ରତି ତାଙ୍କର ଚିନ୍ତାକୁ ପ୍ରତିଫଳିତ କରେ, ବିଶେଷକରି ପୁରୁଷପ୍ରଧାନ ସମାଜରେ ମହିଳାମାନଙ୍କର ସ୍ଥିତି, ସେମାନଙ୍କର ଆଶା, ଆକାଂକ୍ଷା ଏବଂ ମହିଳା ଇଚ୍ଛା ଏବଂ ସାମାଜିକ ମାନଦଣ୍ଡ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଦ୍ୱନ୍ଦ୍ୱ। ଏହି ଉପନ୍ୟାସ ଗ୍ରାମୀଣ ଓଡ଼ିଶାର ସାରାଂଶକୁ ଏହାର ଭୂଦୃଶ୍ୟ, ସଂସ୍କୃତି ଏବଂ ପରମ୍ପରାର ସ୍ପଷ୍ଟ ବର୍ଣ୍ଣନା ସହିତ ଆକର୍ଷିତ କରିଥାଏ।
