Prasnopanisad

The book Prasnopanisad by Swami Chinmayananda is a commentary and translation of the original Sanskrit text of the Prashna Upanishad, one of the principal Upanishads.
The Prashna Upanishad is presented in a question-and-answer format where six sincere and advanced spiritual seekers (disciples) approach the Sage Pippalada with six profound questions about the nature of reality, creation, life, and the ultimate truth (Brahman).
Swami Chinmayananda’s work provides an exhaustive and lucid commentary on the verses, aiming to make the deep philosophical concepts of Vedanta easily understandable and accessible to the modern seeker. ପ୍ରଶ୍ନ ଉପନିଷଦକୁ ଏକ ପ୍ରଶ୍ନୋତ୍ତର ଶୈଳୀରେ ଉପସ୍ଥାପିତ କରାଯାଇଛି ଯେଉଁଠାରେ ଛଅ ଜଣ ନିଷ୍ଠାପର ଏବଂ ଉନ୍ନତ ଆଧ୍ୟାତ୍ମିକ ସାଧକ (ଶିଷ୍ୟ) ବାସ୍ତବତା, ସୃଷ୍ଟି, ଜୀବନ ଏବଂ ପରମ ସତ୍ୟ (ବ୍ରହ୍ମ) ର ପ୍ରକୃତି ବିଷୟରେ ଛଅଟି ଗଭୀର ପ୍ରଶ୍ନ ସହିତ ଋଷି ପିପ୍ପଲଦଙ୍କ ନିକଟକୁ ଯାଆନ୍ତି। ସ୍ୱାମୀ ଚିନ୍ମୟାନନ୍ଦଙ୍କ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ ଶ୍ଳୋକଗୁଡ଼ିକ ଉପରେ ଏକ ସମ୍ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଏବଂ ସ୍ପଷ୍ଟ ବ୍ୟାଖ୍ୟା ପ୍ରଦାନ କରେ, ଯାହାର ଲକ୍ଷ୍ୟ ବେଦାନ୍ତର ଗଭୀର ଦାର୍ଶନିକ ଧାରଣାଗୁଡ଼ିକୁ ସହଜରେ ବୋଧଗମ୍ୟ ଏବଂ ଆଧୁନିକ ସାଧକଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ସୁଗମ କରିବା। ତାଙ୍କର ବ୍ୟାଖ୍ୟା ଛାତ୍ରକୁ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟାୟକ୍ରମେ ଅଦ୍ଭୁତ ବିଶ୍ୱ ଏବଂ ମାନବ ଜୀବନର ସୂକ୍ଷ୍ମ ଦିଗଗୁଡ଼ିକୁ ବୁଝିବାଠାରୁ ପରମ ଲକ୍ଷ୍ୟ: ଆତ୍ମ କିମ୍ବା ବ୍ରହ୍ମ ହାସଲ କରିବା ଦିଗରେ ମାର୍ଗଦର୍ଶନ କରେ।
