“ମାମୁ” ଓଡ଼ିଆ ସାହିତ୍ୟରେ ଏକ ଗୁରୁତ୍ୱପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ କୃତି, ଏବଂ ଡକ୍ଟର ପ୍ରେମାନନ୍ଦ ମହାପାତ୍ର ଏହାର ପ୍ରକାଶନ କିମ୍ବା ସମାଲୋଚନାମୂଳକ ସଂସ୍କରଣ ସହିତ ଜଡିତ ଥିଲେ ମଧ୍ୟ, ମୂଳ ଉପନ୍ୟାସ “ମାମୁ” ଫକୀର ମୋହନ ସେନାପତିଙ୍କ ଦ୍ୱାରା ଲେଖାଯାଇଥିଲା, ଯିଏ ଓଡ଼ିଆ ସାହିତ୍ୟର ଜଣେ ଉଚ୍ଚମାନର ବ୍ୟକ୍ତିତ୍ୱ, ଯାହାକୁ ପ୍ରାୟତଃ “ଓଡ଼ିଆ କଥାର ଜନକ” ଭାବରେ କୁହାଯାଏ।

• ଲୋଭ ଏବଂ ଶୋଷଣ: କେନ୍ଦ୍ରୀୟ ଦ୍ୱନ୍ଦ୍ୱ କାକାଙ୍କ ଲୋଭ ଏବଂ ସେ କିପରି ତାଙ୍କ ନିଜ ପରିବାରର ସଦସ୍ୟଙ୍କ ଦୁର୍ବଳତାକୁ ଶିକାର କରନ୍ତି ଚାରିପାଖରେ ଘୂରି ବୁଲୁଛି।
ସାମାଜିକ ଅନ୍ୟାୟ: ଉପନ୍ୟାସଟି କ୍ଷମତାରେ ଥିବା କିମ୍ବା ପ୍ରଭାବଶାଳୀ ଲୋକଙ୍କ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ସାଧାରଣ ଲୋକଙ୍କ ପ୍ରଚଳିତ ଅନ୍ୟାୟ ଏବଂ ସଂଘର୍ଷ ଉପରେ ଆଲୋକପାତ କରେ।
