Kunti

ସୁରେନ୍ଦ୍ରନାଥ ଶତପଥୀଙ୍କ “କୁନ୍ତି” ଓଡ଼ିଆ ଭାଷାରେ ଲିଖିତ ଏକ ଉପନ୍ୟାସ। ଏହା ଭାରତୀୟ ମହାକାବ୍ୟ ମହାଭାରତର ଏକ ଗୁରୁତ୍ୱପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଚରିତ୍ର କୁନ୍ତୀଙ୍କ ଜୀବନକୁ ଅନୁସନ୍ଧାନ କରେ।
ଏହି ପୁସ୍ତକଟି କୁନ୍ତୀଙ୍କ ଯାତ୍ରାକୁ ଅନୁସନ୍ଧାନ କରେ, ବିଶେଷକରି ତାଙ୍କର ଅନନ୍ୟ ବରଦାନ ଉପରେ ଧ୍ୟାନ କେନ୍ଦ୍ରିତ କରେ ଯାହା ତାଙ୍କୁ ଦେବତାମାନଙ୍କୁ ଆହ୍ବାନ କରିବା ଏବଂ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ସହିତ ସନ୍ତାନ ଜନ୍ମ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ଅନୁମତି ଦେଇଥିଲା। ଏହା ତାଙ୍କର ପାଞ୍ଚ ପୁଅ (ପାଣ୍ଡବ) ସହିତ ତାଙ୍କର ସମ୍ପର୍କ ଏବଂ କିପରି ସେମାନଙ୍କର ଯୁଦ୍ଧ, ପ୍ରେମ ଏବଂ ଭକ୍ତି ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଜୀବନକୁ ଆକାର ଦେଇଥିଲା ତାହା ପରୀକ୍ଷା କରେ। ଏକ ଜୀବନୀ ଆଖ୍ୟାନ ବ୍ୟତୀତ, ଏହି ଉପନ୍ୟାସଟି ଶକ୍ତି, ସମ୍ମାନ, ବଳିଦାନ ଏବଂ ବିଶ୍ୱାସଘାତର ବିଷୟବସ୍ତୁକୁ ମଧ୍ୟ ସ୍ପର୍ଶ କରେ, ଯାହା ଭାରତୀୟ ପୌରାଣିକ କାହାଣୀର ସବୁଠାରୁ ପ୍ରସିଦ୍ଧ ବ୍ୟକ୍ତିତ୍ୱମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରୁ ଜଣେଙ୍କ ଉପରେ ଏକ ନୂତନ ଦୃଷ୍ଟିକୋଣ ପ୍ରଦାନ କରେ। ଏହା ଏକ ଆକର୍ଷଣୀୟ ଆଖ୍ୟାନ ସୃଷ୍ଟି କରିବା ପାଇଁ ପୌରାଣିକ କାହାଣୀ, ଇତିହାସ ଏବଂ କାଳ୍ପନିକ ଉପାଦାନଗୁଡ଼ିକୁ ମିଶ୍ରଣ କରେ।
