“ଜୀବନପଥେ” (ଜୀବନପଥେ) ହେଉଛି ଭାରତର ଓଡ଼ିଶାର ଜଣେ ସମ୍ମାନିତ ସ୍ୱାଧୀନତା ସଂଗ୍ରାମୀ ଏବଂ ସମାଜ ସଂସ୍କାରକ ରମାଦେବୀ ଚୌଧୁରୀଙ୍କ ପ୍ରେରଣାଦାୟକ ଆତ୍ମଜୀବନୀ। ଏହାର ଶୀର୍ଷକ “ଜୀବନର ପଥରେ” ବୋଲି ଅନୁବାଦ କରାଯାଇଛି। ଏହି ପୁସ୍ତକଟି ତାଙ୍କ ପ୍ରାରମ୍ଭିକ ଜୀବନ ଏବଂ ସମ୍ଭ୍ରାନ୍ତ ପୃଷ୍ଠଭୂମିରୁ ଭାରତର ସ୍ୱାଧୀନତା ଆନ୍ଦୋଳନ ପ୍ରତି ତାଙ୍କର ଅଟଳ ସମର୍ପଣ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ତାଙ୍କର ଉଲ୍ଲେଖନୀୟ ଯାତ୍ରାକୁ ବର୍ଣ୍ଣନା କରେ। ଏଥିରେ ଅସହଯୋଗ ଆନ୍ଦୋଳନ, ଲବଣ ସତ୍ୟାଗ୍ରହ ଏବଂ ଭାରତ ଛାଡ଼ ଆନ୍ଦୋଳନ ଭଳି ଗୁରୁତ୍ୱପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଘଟଣାରେ ତାଙ୍କର ସକ୍ରିୟ ଅଂଶଗ୍ରହଣ, ପ୍ରାୟତଃ ତାଙ୍କ ସ୍ୱାମୀ ଗୋପବନ୍ଧୁ ଚୌଧୁରୀଙ୍କ ସହିତ ଏବଂ ମହାତ୍ମା ଗାନ୍ଧୀଙ୍କ ଗଭୀର ପ୍ରଭାବରେ ବିସ୍ତୃତ ଭାବରେ ବର୍ଣ୍ଣନା କରାଯାଇଛି। ସ୍ୱାଧୀନତା ସଂଗ୍ରାମ ବ୍ୟତୀତ, “ଜୀବନପଥେ” ସାମାଜିକ ନ୍ୟାୟ ଏବଂ ଉତ୍ଥାନ ପ୍ରତି ରମାଦେବୀଙ୍କ ଜୀବନବ୍ୟାପୀ ପ୍ରତିବଦ୍ଧତାକୁ ମଧ୍ୟ ଉଜ୍ଜ୍ୱଳ କରିଥାଏ। ସେ ମହିଳା ସଶକ୍ତିକରଣ, ଅସ୍ପୃଶ୍ୟତା ଦୂରୀକରଣ (ହରିଜନ କଲ୍ୟାଣ ସମାଜ ପ୍ରତିଷ୍ଠା), ଖଦିକୁ ପ୍ରୋତ୍ସାହିତ କରିବା ଏବଂ ଆଦିବାସୀ ଏବଂ ଭୂମିହୀନଙ୍କ କଲ୍ୟାଣ ପାଇଁ କାମ କରିବା (ଭୁଦାନ ଭଳି ଆନ୍ଦୋଳନ ମାଧ୍ୟମରେ) ଭଳି କାରଣ ପାଇଁ ନିଜକୁ ଉତ୍ସର୍ଗ କରିଥିଲେ। ତାଙ୍କର ସ୍ପଷ୍ଟ କାହାଣୀ ମାଧ୍ୟମରେ, ରମାଦେବୀ ତାଙ୍କ ଜୀବନକୁ ଆକାର ଦେଇଥିବା ଆହ୍ୱାନ, ବିଜୟ ଏବଂ ଗଭୀର ଅଭିଜ୍ଞତାକୁ ବାଣ୍ଟିଛନ୍ତି, ଇତିହାସର ଏକ ଗୁରୁତ୍ୱପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ସମୟରେ ଓଡ଼ିଶା ଏବଂ ଭାରତର ସାମାଜିକ ଏବଂ ରାଜନୈତିକ ଦୃଶ୍ୟପଟ ବିଷୟରେ ଏକ ଅନନ୍ୟ ଅନ୍ତର୍ଦୃଷ୍ଟି ପ୍ରଦାନ କରୁଛନ୍ତି। ଏହା ତାଙ୍କର ସ୍ଥିରତା, ଆତ୍ମ-ତ୍ୟାଗ ଏବଂ ମାନବତା ସେବା ପ୍ରତି ଅଟଳ ପ୍ରତିବଦ୍ଧତାର ପ୍ରମାଣ।
