Gotie Gadhara Atmakatha

“ଗୋଟିଏ ଗଧର ଆତ୍ମକଥା” ଓଡ଼ିଆ ଭାଷାର ଏକ ବ୍ୟଙ୍ଗାତ୍ମକ ଏବଂ ହାସ୍ୟରସପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଉପନ୍ୟାସ। ଏହା ପ୍ରସିଦ୍ଧ ଉର୍ଦ୍ଦୁ ଏବଂ ହିନ୍ଦୀ ଲେଖକ କୃଷ୍ଣ ଚନ୍ଦରଙ୍କ ଦ୍ୱାରା ଲିଖିତ ହିନ୍ଦୀ ଉପନ୍ୟାସ “ଏକ ଗଧେ କି ଆତ୍ମକଥା” (ଏକ ଗଧର ଆତ୍ମକଥା)ର ଅନୁବାଦ। ଜଣେ ପ୍ରସିଦ୍ଧ ଓଡ଼ିଆ ଲେଖକ ଚନ୍ଦ୍ରଶେଖର ଦାସବର୍ମଙ୍କୁ ଏହି ଅନୁବାଦର ଶ୍ରେୟ ଦିଆଯାଇଛି। ଏହି ପୁସ୍ତକଟି ଗଧର ଜୀବନର କାହାଣୀ ବର୍ଣ୍ଣନା କରିଛି, ଯେଉଁଥିରେ ପଶୁର ଦୃଷ୍ଟିକୋଣ ବ୍ୟବହାର କରି ମାନବ ସମାଜ, ରାଜନୀତି ଏବଂ ସାମାଜିକ କପଟତା ଉପରେ ମନ୍ତବ୍ୟ ଦିଆଯାଇଛି। ଏହା ଏକ ନଗଣ୍ୟ ପ୍ରାଣୀର ଦୃଷ୍ଟିକୋଣରୁ ବିଶ୍ୱର ଏକ ମଜାଦାର ଏବଂ ମର୍ମସ୍ପର୍ଶୀ ସମାଲୋଚନା।
“Gotie Gadhara Atmakatha” is a satirical and humorous novel in the Odia language. It is a translation of the Hindi novel “Ek Gadhe Ki Atmakatha” (Autobiography of a Donkey) by the renowned Urdu and Hindi writer Krishan Chander. Chandrasekhar Dasbarm, a notable Odia author, is credited with the translation. The book tells the story of a donkey’s life, using the animal’s perspective to comment on human society, politics, and social hypocrisy. It is a witty and poignant critique of the world from the point of view of a seemingly insignificant creature.
