ଡକ୍ଟର ଲକ୍ଷ୍ମୀକାନ୍ତ ଖୁଣ୍ଟିଆ (ଡକ୍ଟର ଗୋବିନ୍ଦ ଚନ୍ଦ୍ର ଚାନ୍ଦଙ୍କ ସହ-ଲେଖକ)ଙ୍କ ଦ୍ୱାରା ଲିଖିତ “ଓଡ଼ିଆ ଶିଶୁସାହିତ୍ୟର ଇତିହାସ” ସାହିତ୍ୟିକ ସମାଲୋଚନାର ଏକ ଗୁରୁତ୍ୱପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ କୃତି ଏବଂ ଓଡ଼ିଆ ଭାଷାରେ ଶିଶୁ ସାହିତ୍ୟର ବିବର୍ତ୍ତନକୁ ବୁଝିବା ପାଇଁ ଏକ ଅତ୍ୟାବଶ୍ୟକ ସମ୍ବଳ।ଏହି ପୁସ୍ତକଟି ଓଡ଼ିଶାର ପିଲାମାନଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ସ୍ୱତନ୍ତ୍ର ଭାବରେ ଲେଖାର ଐତିହାସିକ ଦିଗ ଏବଂ ବିକାଶ ଉପରେ ଖୋଳତାଡ଼ କରେ। ଏହା ଏହି ଧାରା ବିଷୟରେ “ସତ୍ୟ ଏବଂ ତଥ୍ୟ” ଉପସ୍ଥାପନ କରିବା ଲକ୍ଷ୍ୟ ରଖିଛି, ଯାହା ଏହାକୁ ବିଦ୍ୱାନ, ଛାତ୍ର ଏବଂ ଓଡ଼ିଆ ଶିଶୁ ସାହିତ୍ୟର ଇତିହାସ ଏବଂ ସୂକ୍ଷ୍ମତାରେ ଆଗ୍ରହୀ ଯେକୌଣସି ବ୍ୟକ୍ତିଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ଏକ ମୂଲ୍ୟବାନ ଶୈକ୍ଷିକ ଏବଂ ଗବେଷଣା ଉପକରଣ କରିଥାଏ। ଏହାକୁ ଏକ ସାହିତ୍ୟିକ ସମାଲୋଚନା ଏବଂ ପ୍ରବନ୍ଧ କୃତି ଭାବରେ ବର୍ଗୀକୃତ କରାଯାଇଛି।
